During a visit to the Porto Alegre Aeromovel (shuttle service for the Salgado Filho Airport), Colombian representatives from the city of Rionegro, metropolitan area of Medellin, in Colombia, were introduced to the characteristics and applications of the Aeromovel, which could solve urban mobility problems in the region.

Interview with Humberto Kasper, CEO of Trensurb
Through his experience with the Porto Alegre Aeromovel (shuttle service for the Salgado Filho International Airport), Trensurb’s CEO Humberto Kasper sees great potential for demand not only in urban public transport, but also in stretches connecting the metro railway to universities, industrial parks and hubs, all spread along Metropolitan Region.
Kasper also mentions the advantages of the Aeromovel system, such as the reduction in costs per passenger and the ease of insertion in urban environments. He further highlights the evolution in displacement technology of the Aeromovel and its competitive edge in relation to conventional metro railway transport systems.

Interview with Savannah Maziya
Aeromovel welcomed Ms. Savannah Maziya, CEO of the Bunengi Group, from South Africa. On the occasion, Ms. Maziya was here to get to learn more about the Aeromovel and its endeavours, as a representative of the project that will be implemented in her country. Interview with engineer Ontoseno Soekotjo
Grupo Coester welcomed representatives of the system implemented in Jakarta, Indonesia, lead by engineer Ontoseno Soekotjo. The visit took place between the 23rd and 27th of June. The purpose of the visit was to get a closer look at the projects in Porto Alegre and Canoas, but also to mature the Aeromovel’s expansion project in Indonesia. The city of Bekasi, in the metropolitan region of Jakarta, is studying the implementation of a line with 12 km extension, similar to that being constructed in Canoas.

Former governor of Rio Grande do Sul, Germano Rigotto, and ABIMAQ representatives were welcomed by Aeromovel Brasil CEO, Marcus Coester, on an institutional visit to the Aeromovel System and Coester headquarters. In addition, the Coester Group took part in a lunch meeting of ABIMAQ representatives.
